The Growing Importance of Industry-Academia Collaboration in Cambodia
In recent years, student company visits and internships have become more common in Cambodia. Many educational institutions encourage internships to acquire practical knowledge, and some universities even have corporate collaboration departments. However, many schools still require students to find companies themselves. Dynamo Tech’s visit served as a prime example of students seizing opportunities and proactively learning.

Dynamo Tech Shares Practical Knowledge and Future Outlook
Dynamo Tech shared examples of its technology use cases to support students’ research.

Tools Supporting Business Efficiency:
Open Source HRM System: Streamlines employee management.
Trello: Facilitates project collaboration.
Ansible & Terraform: Automates server configuration and infrastructure construction.
GitLab CI/CD & GitHub Actions: Enables automated project deployment.

We also explained the importance of project management processes and documentation. Furthermore, as a future initiative, we introduced the development of our in-house AI-powered tool, “TEMPLATE GENERATOR.” This allows users to easily create website and app demos without any coding skills, demonstrating a strong commitment to efficiency and systematic business improvement.

Development engineers Rosady and SivTheng also participated.

・Technology impact: Automation and DevOps are the foundation, and in recent years, the introduction of AI has improved productivity and creativity. They cited Terraform and CI/CD pipelines as major contributions to efficiency.

・Key tools used: In addition to development and DevOps tools, cloud and hosting, they actively utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and their own in-house Template Generator.

・Challenges of Introducing New Technology: The most difficult aspects are team collaboration and managing the learning curve, emphasizing that the practicality of the tools and the team’s proficiency are key to success.

Student Visit Brings New Perspective to Dynamo Tech
The student visit was a valuable experience for Dynamo Tech. It provided a good opportunity to reflect on our daily work and consider how we communicate our company’s work and vision to the next generation. Through the students’ questions, we were reminded of the inspiring nature of our technology from the outside world and learned the importance of “clear storytelling,” particularly in conveying technical content in an easy-to-understand manner to non-technical audiences. We also reaffirmed the value of maintaining connections with young talent and expressed our desire to contribute to the development of future talent.
