DYNAMO TECH SOLUTIONS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. today announced the launch of its Co-managed SOC Service for small and mid-sized businesses in Cambodia, including on-site support.

Background

Many small and mid-sized businesses have no dedicated IT staff, or no security lead at all, leaving little capacity for security monitoring, asset management, or audit preparation. At the same time, adopting a full commercial security suite typically costs around USD 20 per user per month in licensing — a real barrier for many organizations depending on their size.

Service highlights

The service is built around an open-source monitoring and management platform, offered in two configurations depending on customer needs: a hybrid configuration (open-source platform plus the minimum required Microsoft licensing) and a full open-source configuration.

• The hybrid configuration suits customers who want to keep using Microsoft 365 and other cloud services while retaining their access control (Conditional Access)
• The full open-source configuration suits customers who want to minimize licensing costs, or who don’t require advanced cloud access control

Both configurations share the following:

1. Significantly lower licensing costs — compared with a full Microsoft stack, the hybrid configuration cuts licensing costs to roughly one half to one third, and the full open-source configuration brings them down to near zero
2. One service from asset management to incident response — asset stocktaking (owner and peripheral-device mapping), security policy enforcement and remediation, patch management, threat detection, first-response containment, and audit-ready reporting
3. 24/365 automated monitoring with expert response — detection, notification, and first-response containment run automatically around the clock; expert investigation and response are delivered during business hours (after-hours escalation hotline available as an option)
4. Proven on our own environment — the same platform powers our own internal IT management and monitoring

Configurations and pricing guide

• The figures above are the customer-side licensing cost of each configuration. On top of that, an initial setup fee applies, and if you’d also like us to run day-to-day managed operations, that is charged separately
• All fees are quoted to your requirements — please contact us via the inquiry form for an estimate
• For reference, a full Microsoft stack runs approx. $19.20/user/month in customer-side licensing, plus metered log-ingestion fees
